My name is Andreas Beijer. I’m an illustrator and graphic artist based in Sweden. I have a background in fine arts and have worked professionally in the fields of graphic design and illustration for the last 12 years. In 2010 I decided to go on my own and I started a company. However, in 2012 I felt a bit lonely working on my own, so I accepted an offer from the incredibly talented people at Zoink to come work for them. And that’s what I’m doing now.

The name is my sons invention. When me and my two year old passed a construction site, he enthusiastically shouted : -Pumpar, fläktar, mototorer! Which in english translates to: pumps, fans, enginegines. I needed a name for my company and that was it. Mototorer in singular form i guess would be Mototor.

A few years back I got interested in open source software and the whole community based approach to creating. I have turned more and more towards the use of F(L)OSS software and now almost use it exclusively. (If you are interested in knowing more, there are a list of useful links on the Resources page.)

However, I have worked extensively with most standard tools of the trade and I am skilled in all of Adobe’s (I’ve used Photoshop since v.2.5. Thats before there was layers!) and Discreet’s tools (since 3D studio v.4  on MS-DOS and Power animator on SGI-unix). Yes. I am that old :P.

Some of my work is licensed under a Creative Commons License. That means that you are free to use and modify that work. You can go here to find the images that are free to use.

Right now I don’t have time for any jobs on the side. However, you can allways contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
